Each virtual emergency scenario allows the player to engage in a hands-on experience, making both correct and incorrect decisions as a passenger, and witnessing the positive or negative consequences of those choices.

The game encompasses various levels, each depicting different types of emergencies such as in-flight decompression, ground collision, runway overrun, water landing, crash landing, rejected take-off, and fumes in the cabin. Furthermore, players are exposed to different threats that can complicate aircraft evacuation, including fire, cabin smoke, water, unusable exits, and more. The latest version of the app also comes with a level editor feature that enables players to create personalized evacuation scenarios.

In addition to its immersive gameplay, Prepare for Impact includes an option to share your best evacuation results on global leaderboards.
